Maggie Squyer, MURP
Curious urbanist who wants to know: What do you like about your neighborhood?
Maggie is an Associate in Clarion’s Denver office who is passionate about neighborhood-level planning and design. Her time spent reviewing development plans, processing entitlements, and responding to land use inquiries solidified her belief that zoning is an extremely powerful- and largely misunderstood- tool that can be leveraged to improve the look and feel of the built environment. Maggie believes that everyone deserves access to safe housing, nutritious food, and well-maintained outdoor spaces. Contact Maggie at: msquyer@clarionassociates.com
How has your understanding of critical planning issues affected one of your lifestyle choices?: I try to avoid driving short distances as much as possible, so whenever I’m hunting for a new apartment, I prioritize living in a neighborhood near where I work (and preferably within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and a bus stop).
- Dessert: If there’s ice cream involved, I’m eating it.
