Corey Cicci

Corey is an Associate in Clarion’s Denver office. While studying at the University of Colorado Denver, he focused on planning law and the ways regulations shape the built environment. Corey previously served as a Planner I with the City of Brighton, where he gained experience in development review, code enforcement, and economic development. An Army veteran, he brings unique insight into the planning needs of military communities and communities with a strong military presence. He is passionate about crafting zoning and development codes that reflect each community’s character, balance growth with preservation, and support places that are both functional and vibrant. • How has your understanding of critical planning issues affected one of your lifestyle choices?: I’ve realized how much I value living in communities that welcome everyone – families, pet owners, older adults, kids, and people of all backgrounds, lifestyles, and abilities. Thoughtful zoning and planning make those diverse, vibrant places possible.
• Dessert: Any and all forms of pie.
• Preferred mode of transportation: Micromobility – I love an electric scooter
• Weekend Activity: Anything outdoors! Rock climbing, whitewater kayaking, snowboarding, hiking, or visiting one of Colorado’s amazing brewery patios with my dogs.
