2010 Marvin Collins Outstanding Planning Award – Comprehensive Planning, Large Community

In July, the City of Wilson and Iredell County were awarded the Outstanding Planning Award by the NCAPA in the Small and Large Community category, respectively, for their recent Comprehensive Plans. The Town of Morrisville was awarded the Outstanding Planning Award in the Implementation category for its work on its Town Center, which included numerous efforts by the town and a recently adopted Town Center Code, prepared by Clarion.
